NACC LA Entrepreneur member, Karen Kaltenborn Nothstein of LostForWord.com, talks about her experience as a NACC LA Entrepreneur member and how it has affected her career.

”Hello, my name is Karen Kaltenborn Nothstein. I live in LA and I am from Bergen, Norway. I run the creative development agency LostForWord.com, which specializes in translations of Norwegian, Swedish and Danish movie and TV scripts to English.
I became an Entrepreneur member of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles in February 2019, and it’s been a great experience for me. I can highly recommend this membership level. It has enabled me to gain great contacts in the industry, including with other Norwegians, Swedes, Danes and Americans.
Being an NACC LA Entrepreneur member has given me a sense of belonging during those times when I miss Norway the most. I now have a base of Norwegians that I can contact when needed.
I have gotten many new clients since I joined NACC LA. One reason is that my business is listed in the Job Seekers section in the NACC LA newsletter. It has been really great for me to build my business with the help of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles.
I am looking forward to many more years as a member, and I hope you will also join NACC LA!”
